Looks an "experience" !!
Those skiers using this in the vid look like they know the nack. Love to see some novices on this one. (Re-posted the link for ease of viewing) |

There is a little one in L2A as well, from a restaurant uphill to get to the main lifts and save a walk.
Brought back memories - first lift for me was a rope tow. |

Here we go .....
I am really sorry zivdicher that your thread seems to have been highjacked - but the general concensus seems to be - carriers unnecessary (I have tried some and find them a nuisance). |

The way I carry them is ....
(other techniques are available) Tips forward, front of the binding resting behind my shoulder, tips slightly down so the weight of the skis keeps them "on" my shoulder. Oh and on my left shoulder, left hand resting on top of the skis - don't need to hold them, they just stay there once balanced. |

I can see a competition coming on! Photographic evidence of the daftest place where ski carrying was attempted. But Pavel .... What about husband, boyfriend, partner (of either gender) and child hand holding as well for the sake of equality. |
