Survey about ski-helmets
Started by User in Ski Hardware, 27 Replies
For me part of the fun in skiing is the "hope" of a beautiful sunny day and the wind blowing over my scalp (bald) and the thought of wearing a helmet is an anathema
I know that there is lots or parking in La Thuille and also Courmayuer (but not for the main cablecar but at the Dolonne or Val Veny Lifts)

I always take 6 pairs though, 1 for each day. Its just wrong to wear a pair again IMO.

I agree ...I like my Nordica ones best but I have never had any trouble with Salomon though
how about la Thuille... ski in good runs and a nice place and you can ski Courmayuer as well on the same pass....and 80 miles nearer than Sauze and Selva is another 100 miles on that

It is very north if you are down south! Anything north of Watford Gap is north to some! Not to me mind you. Love Scotland!

I live a straight line across from Birmingham thats pretty much North, I don't think its quite south 8)

So if you consider yourself a Northerner why not join us...Either date is good for me

i do agree with all the comments re La Ros but I do think I would prefer to stay in la Thuille if i had the option much better choice of slopes and they can be cut off from each other if the weather comes in...you also get the option of skiing in courmayeur and pila for a day for free(part of the lift pass including free bus)
