My favourite is Lake Louise by a long shot, snow isn't quite as good as Sunshine but terrain=++++++++. Norquay is my second favourite because it is steep and lift queues do not exist. Sunshine is my least favourite as it is quite flat as far as things go-not much excitement.

I think it is one of the few hotels in Banff that is still family owned also..

Ideal location, just beside you you have Coyotes restaurant which is fantastic-locals favourite. Hoodoos across the road and down the stairs.
I don't think you can be better placed in Banff... |

Ultimate Ski and Ride for your skis and boots-they are the best in town I think. If you want a dedicated powder ski go to SnowTips. Avoid Ski Stop like the plague. Get your lift pass through the tour company, or the hotel as it will be cheaper than walking in to the SkiHub and buying it. Apres Lively-you get lucky if you are there on the week that most of the Bow Valley receive their paychecks, this happens every 2 weeks.

On a budget, a large budget? ;) Try it out in a snowdome first off and see if you like it!
