Have a wonderful time. I hope it keeps snowing for you :D

Thank you. Second trip of the season to Swissland - can't wait!

It's done...have opted for an old fave: Hotel Eden in Arosa on March 8.

Fantastic price as well: 715CHF including lift pass! Sensational value for a designer hotel!

Spoke to the hotel just five minutes ago; the receptionist said it was still snowing! :-)

I'm going to Swisserland on March 8; hand hovering over the keyboard this morning to book a hotel.

STILL undecided where....any last min tips?!

Make sure you spell Salomon correctly on the receipt Dale!

Not making light of your misfortune; bloody rotten luck. I am appalled at FlyBe's attitude which once again confirms that going with these so-called low-cost operators really ain't worth it.

Best of luck - hope it all works out.

Ian

Still not decided; won't be Adelboden as I couldn't get any suitable accommodation (Lenk remains a possibility though).

Mate of my brother's recounted a tale last week of being charged 18 Euros for three small bottles of water in Alpe d'Huez. That would have been a rip off before sterling's collapse - and is another reason why I'm unlikely ever to return to France for ski-ing.

Try Ski World and Inghams - they keep sending me e-mail alerts for cheap deals.

Off to Swiss for the second time this season on March 8; still haven't decided where just yet.

When this sort of thing has happened to people I know on summer and ski trips, they have always hired kit and bought new clobber - and claimed it back on insurance/airline, often on the advice of holiday rep/head office in UK.

Mark, not trying to be clever but why didn't you do that and enjoy your ski-ing? I feel sorry that your trip was ruined.
