Pablo - at the ski shop in Hopfgarten last Jan 2009, and they were fine in Nendaz last March.

Why not just see a boot fitter about your current boots? Buckles can be moved etc, I am sure if they are correctly fitted boots then they can be adapted to fit growth.

you're quite right Pablo, having read a bit more about rear entries (ooh, matron) they do seem a bit basic and a step backwards unless your need is desperate like PSC.

I did suggest that to OH in Jan but he threw his toys out of the pram and insisted that if they fitted last year they should fit this year - we don't have our own skis so maybe I could hijack him when we go and get them!

Only 3 weeks to Val Cenis - hooray.

You are only 40 miles or so from CEM in Bicester who, by all accounts, is great at what he does. Why not make the trip? Either that or see if you can change your buckles over yourself. I moved mine and all it took was a few turns with an allen key.

It's not so much the doing it up although that was a bit difficult to start with, it was the actual struggle of getting the boots on that was the biggest problem. Can re-fitted help with that do you think?

Where do you keep your boots at night when you are in resort?

In the ski lockers in the apartment building - I have to say in Montgenevre they were in the underground garage with no heating, do you think it could be the cold that was the problem?
