Yes. If mine were in the cold I would need to wait for them to reach room temp. before I could get them on. Keep them in the room.

Doh!

thanks, that didn't occur to me as I didn't have a problem with my boots - having such delicate ladylike little trotters an' all

I'm pretty sure the boot rooms were heated in H and M last year.

Heck yes. I have a warming box at home for my boots. After that, they go in a thermal insulated bag side by side, but facing each other. I place a very hot heat pack wrapped in a tea towel between the boot fronts. They stay warm for hours, and putting them on is a breeze. It also means the plastic comforms when you buckle them up, for a perfect fit.
I have boots that I have used 70+ times per season for three seasons, and the plastic has not suffered from the heat.

The only problem with hard to get into boots, is getting out of them when they are very cold. I see a few people using hair dryers to get their boots off after racing.

Well spotted folks, cold boots appears to be the problem.

Pablo, a member of our family bought a pair of Nordica rear entries just last year, in Saas Fee. It appears that the manufacturer's production plan for these boots, is based on batch size of 5000 boots ~ and they keep getting sufficient orders.

Not only that, but the shop supplied replacement heel and toe bases for my OH's Nordica ~ 20 years old! What service! Having said that, she has regretted not just buying another pair, while she was there.

Can't find a replacement for my Reichle though. Both you and Bandit supplied me with a web site, but on neither occasion was I able to source through to Reichle.

I just love mine to bits. Easy to get on, ONE CLIP PER BOOT,so I'm usually half way up the T bar before Mel has got his first boot on. Dead comfy, like slippers. And ~ most important, for my dodgy knee ~ when it comes to taking the boot off, the rear opens up wide, and I am not wrenching the knee to get the foot out.

Pretty sure Full Tilt bought the moulds. They have some new models but the original ones are unchanged apart from the colour.
