Tony_H wrote:Many thanks to the anonymous J2skier who posted me a copy of this hilarious hour long tv show. I watched it this morning, and at times laughed like a drain. I was however quite disturbed at some of the people on the DHO club and their ridiculous pompous behaviour. What a shame so many of them fell over at the end of their race.
Kevin, what an absolute star. Wonder if he still skis today....

What disturbed me was the DHO club wasting valuable skiing or drinking time going to church!

Sorry it took so long to get to you, but glad you enjoyed it.

This is not a forum for bigots to air their prejudices. Those doing it need to stop, now. If the programme was funny, that's great, but that's where it should end as far as a public forum goes.

I love my skiing, and have met some idiots on the slopes. However, these people are idiots, because of their actions, not because they're 'toffs'. I speak as a hard working, underpaid commoner.

Who's next in line for some abuse. Northerners, Southerners, Americans, Muslims, Christians?

Taking chalet holidays give me the chance to spend time with a whole cross section of individuals, and I love that.

Lets keep this forum to snow/mountain related topics

I didn't think it was bigotted at all. It was a funny generalisation of a group of people. It was one persons opinion of something, and other people are entitled ot their opinion. Nothing remotely 'nasty' was said, just a statement of a view held by many people.

A lot of the things on this forum can be taken out of context but I believe that at no time, in none of the topics are people being deliberately spiteful, mean, nasty of hateful. Just take things with a pinch of salt and don't get so easily offended.
