The 2026 Freeride World Tour reached a dramatic conclusion today (Saturday 28 March) on the iconic Bec de Rosses, where the season's champions were crowned after a series of standout performances on one of the sport's most challenging faces.

In the snowboard men's category, Victor de Le Rue further cemented his legacy by claiming a fifth world title.

The French rider delivered a confident and technically precise run, underlining his dominance on the tour and his affinity with the demanding terrain of Verbier.

He delivered one of the most anticipated runs of the day, launching a massive backflip directly into a high-consequence no-fall zone and a clean backside 360 followed. He was awarded 75 points, placing him second on the day.

Ben Richards (NZL) capped off a perfect season with a third victory, following wins in Baqueira Beret and Val Thorens, by delivering a standout performance at the season finale.

The New Zealander opened with a massive, perfectly executed 360 above a highly exposed section. He then linked multiple features seamlessly, including a long high-speed transfer, showcasing his ability to blend freestyle elements with big-mountain terrain.

In the women's divisions, a new generation announced itself in style. French rookie Lou Barin impressed in the ski category, combining fluidity with bold line choice to take both the event win and the overall crown in her debut season.

Meanwhile, American snowboarder Mia Jones matched that achievement in the snowboard category, delivering a composed and powerful run to secure a memorable double victory.

The finale brought the 2026 season to a close in spectacular fashion, with the Bec de Rosses in Verbier once again proving why it remains the ultimate stage for freeride competition.
