Thanks for the comments guys, maybe Warren Miller is more up my street.... :D
I have had tuition on each of my trips, mostly very good but would like something a bit more taxing, tho might need major fitness regime overhall first!

Hi guys,

Just looked at this chat and thought I'd make myself available if you had a questions about the courses.

There are quite a few variations on the levels and although some levels are pushed hard, we also run a more relaxed groups as well. We introduced this last season responding to feedback for our clients.

A good idea is to check out our levels system on the website, http://www.warrensmith-skiacademy.com/courses/about-the-courses/group-skier-levels/, to get an idea of all our levels.

Feel free to call me to chat over the courses, the content, the intensity and how we fine tune it to match your needs. I in the UK at the moment and on 07775 500599. Call anytime and if you can't get through just text me with a short message and I'll call you back.

I saw the report about what sounded like an over intense bit of coaching. Sorry about that, we are pretty spot on about tuning into people's levels and limits so that could have been an except where someone hit real fatigue.

Hope you can make it this summer. He's also a copy of our last newsletter, http://www.warrensmith-skiacademy.com/newsletters/june12.html

All the best,

Warren

I think it was just that I was so unfit and should have known better than to push myself like that, I am an old duffer after all!

Really improved my technique though, so thanks. I would definitely recommend your courses and will probably do another one before my next holiday to sort out some of the other bad habits I have! :D

ahh, the elusive quest for ski fitness. I would pay anything for that :)
I do understand the wish to push yourself at the time, almost like making the most of the moment in the hope of being better. Not sure I would want to go on such a course and have a 'relaxed' group as such, I quite like the idea of being pushed a bit.
But I am now set on doing a one day for starters, so thanks Felthorpe and Warren.

The thing that is now intriguing me tho, is how can Warrensmith write a single post and get 5 stars???

He must be a popular guy?

I have taken to the cross trainer. It doesn't seem to have much effect at the time but once on the slopes it really pays off. Or so I have found.

I may even be up to another Warren Smith one day course now!!

I'd like to do one of his one day courses before our ski holiday in January, if I can fit it into my busy schedule.

Just have to update this thread after a day at Hemel with Andy from Warren Smith.
Worth EVERY penny! Great day, obvious progress, really great coaching. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again :)
Only down side is there aren't currently any more days this season :(
