Woohooo Keg steaks as well, nice!!
I was in the Inns of Banff when I went out, a bit of a hike back from town in the evening, but was of course the first call for the buses

The Inns isn't bad, dated now though. Not huge on the Keg, Saltlik on the other hand...

Fair enough, a lot have said the same. But we had some poor service when we went to Saltlik.
However, we found the Keg to be great. The service was excellent, and the steaks superb. We arrived in Banff a few hours late due to a departure delay in the UK and the Inns could only offer bar snacks, but they called down to the Keg, who agreed to keep the kitchen open as we were a party of 10, and they were really helpful and friendly. They were just as good when we went back later in the trip.
I also really enjoyed the Sushi in the Inns, and thought it was good value.
