Busy but traditional village of narrow streets and old buildings accessing a lesser known ski area with links to St Margarethen on one side of the village and Mauterndorf and Weisspriach on the other. Bus link between villages also covers the two system breaks across village centres to get from one part of the ski area to the next. The ski area also encompasses the lifts of neighbouring Katschberg ( 6.5km / 4 miles away) where the non-ski kindergarten is based.
