Großarl

The Austrian ski resort of Großarl has direct access to 80km of downhill skiing, with 19 individual pistes, served by 24 ski lifts.

With skiing above 2000 metres, snow cover is generally reliable.

Snowmaking :- Großarl is able to augment natural snow, on 60km of ski runs, with 335 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 24 Ski Lifts of Großarl are able to uplift 24,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are four airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Großarl are perfectly feasible. Salzburg Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
