Any suggestions for what to do/where to go for New Year in Mayrhofen? Also any suggestions for good restaurants. We are a group of 6 heading to mayrhofen on 27th Dec-3rd Jan and looking for some suggestions. Also we were recommended by travle agent bot to purchase ski pass for beginners-can the ski pass be purchased for individual days only?

Ski pass can be booked for an many days as you want in Mayrhofen.
As for places to go, theres plenty. I'd recommend the Hotel Neue Post or Mo's Diner for friendly, fun places with good food, but you will need to book for NYE before you go I would imagine. I would also guess most places are booked up for private functions as well, so get on the case quickly.
