Hi,
I am considering booking flights Manchester to Munich for a ski trip in Austria. Can anyone tell me what the COVID restrictions on travel are for a UK resident travelling into Austria through Germany. I have heard that if Austria is your end destination for travel then you have to fly into Austria. Is this correct?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Not look logical.
I'm not British but border crossing in Western Europe is not a problem this days.

Hi MikeyLeeds, currently there are no restrictions on travel, I have linked a couple of sites for you to check. However, be aware that things can change if there is another large outbreak. TBH, my personal opinion is that they will be unlikely to stop travel from Germany.

Just an update.
Dec 22 just got on train from Munich to Austria and ffp2 masks still required on train in Germany, but not once in Austria.
Obviously Austrian border control is so good, it stops covid.
