Really enjoyable holiday again in the French Alps. Might get some time to upload some photos but here's one indicating the conditions we were facing for half the week. Cold and snowy!

By the way, I managed (with two others from the chalet) to be more or less the 1st down La Face one morning. Lovely groomed slopes and not too challenging. Apparently at the beginning of the week, and after the prepping for the WC race, it was hideous.
Also skied down Santons on my last day in best conditions I've ever seen it. Hardly anyone using it and very little ice. Still don't like the flat section at the bottom though.
New Tovieres lift in Tignes is very nice!
