Sounds like you had the same thinking as us! We looked at Sauze too but were put off by a lack of ski-in / out accomodation.
Guess now most of the party are the wrong side of 35, those old bones dont like a long walk at the end of the day!! :mrgreen:
Definitely planning to do some ski-ing over in Sauze while we are their (providing the links stay open, have read of them closing in high winds).
Right - 5 weeks to go, better get it booked :D :D

Tyche - same as us! Stayed in La Thuile last year and have booked to Sestriere this year! It sounds as if it doesn't have the same charm as La Thuile (which I would be happy to go to again and again), but my partner had really exhausted the blacks there so we thought about the Milky Way and Sestriere seemed the best value. Sauze sounds fantastic, but was higher priced and I don't think the accommodation was as close to the slopes and mostly inaccessible other than by walking.
