Nope, just about capable, many thanks for your concern, having dependents & not being selfish I decided this year it is not worth the risk

How about Flaine or Val Thoren or Kimberley in Canada all have good snow and I can personally vouch for Kimberley as I have just landed back from there and it was fantastic powder beyond belief. In fact why am I writing this I WANNA GO BACK NOW , all contibutions gratefully accepted :lol: :lol: :lol:

IIRC a guide was killed on the Valley Blanche run recently - fell into a deep crevasse, I think! If its not safe for the guides ...........

We've got fresh snow in Montgenevre. It's coming in from the east and hitting the Milky Way hard.

There's diddly squat in the Portes du Soleil.
Only passable around Avoriaz yesterday - melting fast everywhere and what there is is chewed up porridge!

St Anton and Obergurgl appear to have tons of snow according to several emails I have just received.

Big dump forecast for central Austrian resorts tomorrow (Kitz, Soll, Mayrhofen, etc).

However, because of high temperatures likely to fall as heavy rain low down. I would expect that this will pretty much finish off the lower runs in these resorts but should give pretty decent skiing up high, though possibly a bit heavy.
