Hi Andi282,
I'm glad the lessons were so successful - have you really managed to fix all those problems as fast as that? That's amazing

I have your faults 2,3, and 5 and although I have worked on them very hard during the last couple of years I still suffer from them to a certain degree. It sounds like your instructor was really good.

Trencher and GetJim,
I think if I was only having lessons on one day I'd pick the second day, so that, as you said, I'd have time to get my ski legs back, and then the rest of the week to practise what I'd learned during the lesson.

Hi AllyG, yeah I had a great time, I must admit before the holiday I was nervous about moguls and skiing powder, I'm not talking about deep deep powder just like 8 ins or so... but after my skiing lessons and improving my form I am now able to ski crud, ice and moguls and powder or deeper snow, I really enjoy it too even crud skiing! I guess the terrain and conditions was so diverse I had to learn extra quick... on the Thursday and Friday a big storm came in and dumped a load of new snow and the whole resort was under thick powder! and that was just fantastic, It's hard to explain just how nice it is to ski in powder, I was just going off the piste and through the trees.

I have never really experienced powder before as I was so nervous about it, but now It just feels great being in it! deeper the better haha Can't wait till next year!
Andi282,
I am totally green with envy

You must be a very quick learner. Well done

I wish I could improve as fast as you (me sulking)

Ally
I think I'd follow your lead too Trencher. If I haven't skied for a really long time, that initial lesson would be a waste. And to bring up getjim point, a ski holiday is just exactly that...a holiday. To set expectations like charging massive lines and floating in waist deep powder might be over ambitious. I leave that stuff to the pros. However if I feel like every time I go out I learn something new or progress in anyway, that's a victory for me.
