Same issue here, would've loved to join you and my friend was intrested too but I'm away for New Year with family hence no chance leaving again on 11/1 :( Skied in Sauze in March last year, really enjoyed the area,had good snow conditions, the weather was good too except when decided to take a bus to French side - apparently it was lovely in Sauze all day but we ended up skiing in fog in Montgenevre that day! Will let you know, Ally, if circumstances change. Any more trips planned for later?? :)

No, sorry, it's quite a lot of work organizing just one trip. I hadn't thought of doing two!
But I'm sorry you can't come on that date :(
If anyone else wants to join us on the 11th January, Crystal still have rooms available in the Sauze hotel ...

I arrive in Austria during the Sauze week. I always celebrate my b/day in the Bichlwirt, (My own personal Harpist, Herbert, will be there) Given that it is a big birthday, (30ish) it cannot be changed. Ok, maybe 40ish. Say no more. I merely quote my skiing age.
So no can do. The upside is that I get to ski with quite a few ex-J2skiers in Niederau.
As ever, I wish the J2skiers well, and one day...
But well done to Ally (and Felthorpe) for their work and skills.

And thanks for your kind words re organizing the group holiday. Several people in the group help with this. Last year, for example, Ian organized the minibus taxi transfer between Verona and Folgarida. And this year several people helped with researching different resort and hotel holiday options.
As of yesterday, Crystal still had 6 rooms available on the 11th January in the Sauze hotel, where the group will be staying in Sauze d'Oulx. If anyone else wants to come would they please let me know, and if they need a room buddy we will help them to find one. The basic price with Crystal is £525 per person for the half-board hotel, flights and transfers.
