No its fine for out on the balcony but its put on not long after that.
Your teasing me now, believe me its not a pretty sight without it. As for the antifreeze/make-up I am sure I could make it. Actually anti-freeze is used in the preserving of some hardwood flowers, perhaps it would help preserve my skin.

I've only ever gone on one whole week snowboarding holiday as i used to live in turin so we would go up every weekend on the bus/train (to Bardonecchia, Sauze, Sestriere etc) and i couldnt believe how people wouldnt go boarding/skiing if they were actually staying in a resort, solely because conditions werent perfect!! any bad day on the mountain (once there is enough snow) is better than a good day in the city!!!
the early bird may get the worm but it's the mouse that comes second that gets the cheese...

I go one better, put dressing gown on and if we have a balcony straight out onto the balcony to see how much snow has fallen.

1st - Check the double Ibroprofen (sorry for the spelling) have worked from the night before.
2nd - Go straight to the window to check weather.
3rd - Wake up everyone with the news of last night new snow fall and the current clear skys (sometimes have to fib a little) to get some of the lazy gits moving.
4th - Check the watch - how long to the first lift - Sh*t!! Hours away still....
5th - Check weather again...and again....
6th - Start getting ready (well only about an hour before the first lift - many things could happen before the first lift, that means you could miss it)
7th - Sit around waiting / checking weather.
8th - Go Go Go

The ski areas have been open for nearly two weeks here, but I waited until today because I do like good conditions. Then again, with the work situation here, I've likely got all winter on the slopes so no need to hurry. I managed only about three hours total (board and ski), as I do want to be able to walk tomorrow. Nice start though, blue sky, crisp corderoy and hardly anyone around.
