Japanese bullet trains have both. I always go for the sit down option!

Its a nightmare when you're skiing, its never happened to me, but imagine being in the 'one hand on the wall' position when your boots lose traction with the suspiciously wet floor......

Another tick in the box for Austria as far as I'm concerned, most of their bogs are classified blue (easy/beginners)!!!

And in Mumbai airport holes in the floors, bad smells and a lady handing out toilet paper. Ugh!

And in the Italian ski resort it was very messy..someone had had a bad night and should've stayed in bed I reckon....

My daughter slipped and we had to throw her top away as I just couldn't look at it again...

Ian Wickham wrote:There is just a technique to using them this is what you do.......

1. Carefully drop sallos and any under garments you may be waring

2. Hook your arm through your sallo braces so they do not flap behind you or it could end up messy.

3. Slightly squat at 45 degrees.

4. Remember right arm holding the sallos braces and left arm behind you against the wall or system pipe

5. Now you should be at the correct angle for a successful number two's

6. Mission accomplished

Wickers, you put your heart & soul & a whole lot more into that post. Brilliant.

well this post has certainly made me curious...the last squatter I came across on the ski slopes was one in La Thuille in the lift station at the bottom (excuse me) a really new one ...they are a bit awkward so I have done some research...

I absolutely loved those links, especially the comments:

Guys, push your dangly bits through your lap and make sure they're pointing down.
