A good mate of mine just came back from a week in SC, he usually skis Easter in the USA but decided to try SC after hearing me raving about it.
He said they were skiing on great snow on empty pistes all week, blue skies every day.
He told me he loved the variety of the slopes, the feeling of moving about to different areas, the individuality of each sector, and the quality mountain restaurants (Perya Juana and Pi Mai in particular). He also found Tabuc really challenging but felt the only other really tough challenges were off piste, which they dont like to do at the best of times but particularly when it was crusty.

However, he came back and said there is one problem with Serre Chevalier: Its French !!!

Tignes 1800 and Val were also heavily snowed. Every night for a week 3 - 6 inches of the light stuff. What a delight. Difficult REDS became scintillating BLUES. stay at the fuaj hostel and meet the best french hosts possible. from NB.
