Massive, where abouts is that Sport Hotel Soldeu ??
I might be wrong as they used to call the bar underneath the Piccadilly Bar,
but it was a number of years ago. :thumbup:

It is next to Fat Albert's. Picadilly Bar is a bit further on, the way the car is facing.

That looks like a lot of snow! Did you manage to get down the mountain OK? I saw that the route down towards France was closed much of last week. Thankfully the snow is hopefully saying goodbye for a few weeks so we can actually ski and see where we are going!!

We drove up from Reus (Barcelona) and only encountered dodgy conditions for the last few miles, but still made it up to Soldeu on the previous sunday night. Going home we tip-toed to Encamp but it was fine after that. The scenery was excellent, and we stopped in a square in Reus town watching the 'Confetti Carnival' in a warm 18 degrees!

Yesterday evening an English friend who lives in France was turned back on the road to his Andorra resort by the Gendarmes because of avalanches. His car had winter tyres (bought last week) and chains. He's now back home in the Lot very disgruntled that the Ski Club of GB site he checked before he left still hasn't mentioned this.
