Toko wax iron, ski vice pro, ptex gun, wax, candles files, brushes, everything you can think of to service skis as local shop has closed down but now can do them properly, oh and new boots but that was at the end of last season, so as far as the other half is concerned does not count !

A can of tool dip to repair my gloves.

Scuse my ignorance...how does this work?
have i been throwing away gloves for no reason??????

Tool dip is a liquid plastic that you would dip the handles of metal tools into. It dries leaving a plastic coating. You should be able to get small cans at a hardware store. It works well for repairing the fabric part of gloves that are wearing thin and protecting the stitching. It can be painted on to the material of ski pants and jackets where the material is wearing thin making a rubber patch (it comes in different colours). It works OK on leather, but tends to peel at the edges of a patch. For patching leather gloves you can also use shoe goop.

This glove was patched two seasons ago. The heel of the palm and the finger tips had worn right through.

because I'm so inclined .....
