Hi,
Looking to travel to Austria or France for a week of skiing over new years with 5 others. So I have been reading that Skiwelt is the place to go when on a budget.
So I have plugged my details into one of the accommodation sites and I'm getting emails with offers.
One seemingly good offer that has come through is for Brixen im Thale. Being a real novice I don't quite understand it all. However, I'd imagine that you need to be either near a ski lift or near a bus stop? What sort of walking distance is acceptable? Is it fair to assume there are ski schools? I assume there is plenty happening on new years eve? Also in these small towns there are good pubs and cafes?
