Do we need Swiss francs if ski-ing over from France?

Title says it all. We're staying in Chatel next week, but hope to ski into Switzerland (absolutely NOT doing the Swiss Wall).

Do we need Swiss francs if we want to stop off for a hot chocolate, or will a credit card and Euros suffice?

I'd say you'll be ok with a card, but I'd probably have some CHF with me.
Don't you fancy the wall then?

Its Switzerland...of course you will be OK with Euros...I was a couple of years ago...they quote in both currencies...but you will need a lot its not cheap

You might get your change in Swiss Francs, but most tourist places accept both currencies.

Funnily enough, no - not after watching the YouTube videos of it.

I use a card.

Bandit is exactly right, you can use euros but you'll get the change in swiss francs.

You may get your change in Swiss Francs and their rate of exchange will be awful. I'd use a card for sure.
