Do we need Swiss francs if ski-ing over from France?
Title says it all. We're staying in Chatel next week, but hope to ski into Switzerland (absolutely NOT doing the Swiss Wall).
Do we need Swiss francs if we want to stop off for a hot chocolate, or will a credit card and Euros suffice?
thanks!

Its Switzerland...of course you will be OK with Euros...I was a couple of years ago...they quote in both currencies...but you will need a lot its not cheap
You might get your change in Swiss Francs, but most tourist places accept both currencies.

Don't you fancy the wall then?
Funnily enough, no - not after watching the YouTube videos of it.
Thanks for the replies! Just off to buy my Euros now.
Use a card ......
I use a card.
Bandit is exactly right, you can use euros but you'll get the change in swiss francs.

You may get your change in Swiss Francs and their rate of exchange will be awful. I'd use a card for sure.
