PLEASE HELP ME
My husband is going to be in Paris for a few days at beginning of February and would like to get directly to a ski resort and have 4 days of skiing with some kind of group advanced lessons. I haven't been able to find a "package" for him with accommodation + ski hire + pass + lessons without flights which he doesn't need.
Trying to book everything for him on-line is a nightmare for me as a) I'm not a skier - b) I have no idea of which resort to look at and c) doing everythign separately seems VERY EXPENSIVE (not to mention not knowing distances from place to place etc). PLEASE PLEASE help! My husband is a competent skier but wants to improve with advanced lessons and off-piste experience. He needs simple single accommodation and half-board. Any ideas???
Thanks so much :-)

Hi Judi,
Try giving Optimumski at the Chalet Optimum ( Le pre / Villaroger - Les Arcs ) a ring or email.
Le pre / Villaroger can be reached via Paris on TGV , SNCF or Eurostar with a transfer by the Chalet from Bourg-St-Maurice Gare Routiere.
http://www.optimumski.com/index.htm .
From memory they can sort out private lessons etc so should not be a problem.

I would try a couple of travel agents who specialise in skiing, especially as you are not particularly savvy on the subject.
I have used both .....
www.skisolutions.com
and
www.igluski.com
before and received great service.

Thanks Jong.... I've emailed Optimumski and will wait to hear from them.
Thanks to you too OldAndy have contacted both companies as you suggested but according to their websites, their packages all include flights which I don't need, so I don't know whether they will be able to help.
If you have any other ideas please let me know :-)

Hi, you could always take a look at a few of the short break specialists - skiweekender.com and skiweekends.com probably can help. Skiweekends.com might include travel though.
hope that helps.
