That would be nice, but to be quite honest the avatar scares me a little :shock:
Beware; once you get into a pair of nice, comfortable, lightweight snowboard boots it's difficult to climb back into robot boots again...
Quite right Ian although not got round to mountain climbing as such :lol:

Will I now be banned from this forum? I enjoyed it but it is a strange feeling being scared of slding down a nursery slope again!! Might have a few more lessons and see how quickly I pick it up...

Nah, I did it too and it just made me realise how much I loved skiing... I have actually done a couple weeks of snowboarding :lol:

No matter what you do ski, snowboard, cross country, ski jumping, bob sled, mountain climbing or snow shoeing it's being in the mountains that matter. :wink:

Both my kids are good skiers and want to try boarding. I would also like to try it, but dont want to spend time learning something all over again, and farting about with sitting/hanging around, so might just pass it up and stick to improving my skiing.
