The Tignes webcams look great too.

36cm on lower slopes, 100cm up high. Powder off piste.

Another 47cm forecast this week, temperatures staying cold.

75 out of 154 slopes open today, that's more than have been opening week in years.

12 days and counting!

Lets face it, any webcam looks fantastic compared to looking out the window in this godforesaken country

I have to disagree on that one Tony...the view from the staff room window (at my last school) was straight into the changing room window of the local fire station! Admittedly there was no snow, but believe me that window clocked up more hours than Vangogh's Sunflowers in the National Gallery!

I both agree and disagree - if that's possible.

Last year I worked on the 32nd Floor of the Citigroup Tower in Canary Wharf and the views were fantastic towards Greenwich, London Eye, Wembley Arch - I could even see the smoke when Bunsfield blew up.

But then you went to the other side of the building and looked over to the 'Eastend' and thought what a dump...
You'll never know, unless you try...
