I am looking to but a good quality ski helmet and hard case ski bag. My problem is that I have no idea what a good quality helmet is or what I should expect to pay. Same goes for the ski bag.
Anyone help or point me in the right direction.
Cheers

Hi Schussman,
Take a look at what Snow & Rock have to offer,But i would personally go for a good fit as opposed to price. As for ski cases I had a hard case ski tube once and they weigh a ton without the ski`s so stick to Davidmpires link IMO.

My experience with cases and bags (i travel with my bass quite a lot) a hard case is not always the best option, they seem to be better in cases when your stuff might get crushed, but a well padded bag, is much better in my opinion.
1st is lighter
2nd, you usually have tons of little pockets where you can stuff your things
3rd if you drop it the padding acts as a shock absorber and your skis don't suffer as much, like they would in a case. A case to be really good, would have a strong hardshell, will weight a ton, and inside would have a way to keep the skis thight and secured and wouldn't let them bump against each other. Is it worth it. I don't think so. If you can find a bag with a sheet of some hard matterial between the padding that's the best of both worlds.

Great. Seems like the general consensus is not to but a hard case. So only waiting to see other replies regarding my helmet !

Helmet choice boils down to fit, comfort, ventilation, hearing, and most importantly style. There are different styles and camo military style (park rat) helmet is going to look incongruous with your traditional red Spyder jacket .
