Ok so I've managed to borrow a mates go pro, I think it's a hero 2.
Never used one before so would welcome some tips from users on the best features, how easy it is to operate, tie best kind of mounts (getting a handlebar mount to put on a ski pole and a chest harness but like the idea of a ski cam.....), and what software is best to use for editing.
I use a mac and iPad so needs to be compatible.
Thanks in advance

You will need to thicken the pole to take the handle bar mount. I used self amalgamating tape as this I water proof.
Chest mount is bang on.
Software - iMovie is easiest but final cut better.
Faster frame rates best for slow mo.
720p gives a wider angle on that model, I think, so use that
