Skiing
The resort features several ski areas, with the highest peak reaching an elevation of approximately 1,200 meters. Notable pistes include the blue runs of Spodná a Horná and the challenging black run Hlavná, served by the efficient six-person lift, Nová.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Makov is Žilina, 30 minutes drive away.
Ostrava, Bratislava, Katowice, Brno, Poprad–Tatry, Vienna and Krakow airports are all within three hours drive.
Žilina is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Makov is easily accessible via several major routes, with the nearest international airports being in Bratislava and Vienna. Direct shuttle services to the resort are available, making travel convenient.
