What's the difference between what Jon said and what TH is saying then? Or do you mean the same thing?

My old man lives at Thornham, on the North Norfolk Coast.

He plays golf, plays bowls, takes photographs and watches sky sports all week. Has about 5 foreign holidays a year, including about 3 weeks on snow. If its dry, he barbecues dinner.

I hate him.

We are off to an early start. Earliest significant snow for forty years. One of the ski areas (that always likes to be the first to open) is making snow. People had been predicting an early winter as the leaves start to change colour earlier than usual. What that bodes for Europe, I don't know. The crazy thing is, we had the air conditioning running three weeks ago.

Saturday 10th Oct, Logan is not excited :(

If it snows as much during the winter here as it rained during the summer (something stupid like 50 consecutive days) then Scotland will be on to a winner :D
