Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum and just after some advice on ski goggles.
I'm going to Chamonix for a week in march and looking at some goggles, pref below £50. What lense category do I need? My girlfriends goggles re category 3 so was going to get the same as her... also what makes/models do you recommend?
Thanks 8)

it depends if you are wearing it only when its snows or even in bright sun shine, I wear sun glasses on a bright day and goggles when its snowing

Same as above goggles for dull / whiteout conditions (Persimmon lenses)
Sunnies for sunny days (VR28)
Have a look on the Oakley site for guidance
I use Oakley Wisdom goggles for whiteout
I got mine from here

Welcome to J2ski :D Oakley have a solid reputation and you should be able to find a choice under £50. Try them on before you buy! Mirrored lenses are often quite dark, so can only be worn in sunny conditions. Persimmon or Rose for low light, which help with definition on dull or snowy days. Cat 2 is fine for me.
I would not recommend buying cheap goggles from e-bay, as it may be a false economy, counterfeits are hard to spot!
