Wow! Did my 1st Black Runs!

I just thought I'd share a highlight from my trip to St Anton, I managed to get down my 1st Black runs :)

I had a days 1 to 1 tuition (my 3rd ski trip) and after a few runs of going through my posture and technique the instructor took us down a short black run and then the Kandahar run.

Was stunned and amazed I got down it with no issues. Was quite choppy and very bumpy on most of the runs so was pleased to get a crash course in moguls. No accidents at all which also amazed me considering the piste conditions.

Just wanted to share my experience with any other intermediates out there :)

Oh Cristoph was the best instructor I've ever had. :) Really was good at inspiring confidence to the point where the next day I was doing black runs on my tod. (one of our party said that the blue shield of an instructor can do wonders :evil: )

Can't wait for the next trip :)

Congrats. Remember being similarly chuffed my first time. :D

Here's a link to the School. I've had 4 instructors over the last 3 years and they have all been one to one instruction. This was definitely the most rewarding. Could have been a mixture of the fact I'd already had 5 days 1 on 1 instruction and was really able to take on board what was being said but I reckon it was down to Cristoph being very very good compared to others I've had.

1st one was more interested in chasing and chatting up the ladies. :evil:
