Indeed, it does make you think twice before book with small/smaller operators. With stories like this popping up quite regular it does push me closer to the like of Crystal and Inghams.

hmmm.,......not sure I totally agree with this conclusion. The apartments we rented in Les Arcs 1950 last year and Val d'isere this year were privately owned (I think the Les Arcs property was a leaseback). They were both really well appointed with lots of little homely extras and beforehand we entered into correspondence with the owner so a rapport can be built up.

We knew exactly what we were getting including the specific location and aspect. I haven't been on a package tour holiday(summer or winter) since I was a teenager in 1984!
I'm afraid I have some bad news regarding Santa:-

I quite like the results from the chest harness. The pole mount also gives a very interesting result but I wouldn't want to spend too much time waving a pole around whilst trying to ski.

There are loads of vids on youtube providing various viewpoints - snapzzz has uploaded a few, I've uploaded one from the chest harness perspective.
Helmets Get More Techie

Do we really need heated helmets???

I've skied in -24 temperatures (excluding windchill) and was fine with my current unheated helmet. Sounds like a gimmick to me.

And I'm being serious. No rude comments please.

I'm a recent devotee to yoga (ashtanga form). It's not as laid back as people think. The weekly class I attend is run by a 5th dan karate black belt - no mercy from him! It has really helped with balance and also loosed up my ankle, knee and hip joints. I'm convinced it helped when we skied in January.

Hello my name is Richard and I am an addict.

I drink a bottle of Jack Daniels every day before lunch and then sleep it off on a park bench in the afternoon. My life is a mess.

** edit *** bugger......wrong forum
I've been vaguely interested in getting more access to sports via the TV but that's about it. Not a big TV watcher and sometimes we sit in the lounge with a glass of single malt and flick though the umpteen channels on freeview and freesat and then give up and put a cd on instead.

Is there any way to get access to sport only without paying for loads of additional pointless reality show crapola?

We are in the sticks though which rules out cable.
Hey snapzzz, does Usain Bolt work in your office with you? If yes, could you get me his autograph?
