Theres no more skiing for me this year but i spend every waking moment on J2Ski and looking at webcams.
I am staring at my skis and boots that are on display in my back room.
I am browsing my photos and watching my videos every 30 mins.

I drink wine, plenty and let my mind dwell on the faust back into Flaine.

I want to ditch my life and move to the alps.....

Hello Jon and Helen, my name is Tony and I too am an addict :shock:

I have just unpacked, and when it is washed, I will pack it again, just in case something turns up as a real last minute thing. I don't want there to be any reason why I cannot get another fix this season. Skis are already polished and waxed, all I need to do is zip up the ski bag. Boots are staying dry and supple in my airing cupboard, boot bag nearby. Poles have been sharpened for anyone who gets in the way :twisted:

The worst thing is that people at work just don't understand :cry:

They all think I have a problem because I don't go on summer holidays to somewhere warm. They don't realise that it is they who have the problem and miss out on the greatest thing they could ever do by going to somewhere high, cold and snowy.

My boss gets suspicious when I talk about my addiction to powder :shock:

They just don't understand.

The Indian and the Sri Lankan I work with just want to watch cricket, and they think all the pictures I have in my office section represent hell on earth. They need to be educated!

Hi I am Michelle and I am an addict. Skied as a teenager and have never managed to persuaded hubby to go until last year (nearly 30 years later!) when I just booked to go to Andorra. We went Feb half term and then booked Pila for xmas this year. Looking to go again at Easter. Quote of the year from hubby.......................... "wish I had gone years ago" Duh really.
