I am with you Ian.

That gets my vote as well, stopping on a sunny day on the slopes is pleasant as well, but we're not running a marathon, there's no need to get liquids on the move. Ironically, if we were genuinely worried about issues like liquid intake then we ought to think about the need to have a rest as well. Not dehydrated but knackered isn't much use :D

This started as just a train of thought of some of the bad ski hotels that we might have stayed in, for me it was in the spanish resort of La Molina 1400, I will not mention the hotel as I know they have had a refit since my stay. But it started with the rooms not being cleaned as the last persons toothpaste and brush was still in pride of place, in the bar on the first night someone stole my shoes, I'd just brought a new pair of boots and had my shoes in a bag at the bar went to the loo and bob's your uncle someone nicked my "daisy roots". To cut a long story a bit shorter stale rolls for breakfast, a meal which we called cat litter was the final straw, we were the lucky ones we could afford to eat out others were forced to eat what was put in front of them.
Can anybody beat that hotel ?
