I've heard that the snow lasts longer if the cannons can get down a good layer before the proper stuff falls ,something to do with the structure of the fake snow or I could of just day-dreamed it :)

If you're staying in a Hotel then i would definitely take shoes or trainers,anything light and comfy just to mooch around the hotel in and then walking boots for the outdoors :)

With the Gopro hd hero 2 out now shop's might do deals on their old stock hd hero's.

I brought my Gopro hd hero a couple of months ago(great..already out of date) after failing with my brother's Contour HD last year and recorded 2 hours of hd footage of the bottom of my ruck sack with no way to delete the files. You need a laptop to do it . With the Gopro you can do it all from the camera.

With the wide angle lens of the Gopro you can pretty much just point it in the general direction and you're guaranteed not to miss anything .No need for a battery hungry screen . :)

Having give away my helmet to a friend who needed it more than I did at the time I went out and brought a new one a couple of days ago .
I tried loads on and the winner was the a 'Sandbox'. Doesn't sit on top of the head like a mushroom and only has minimal padding inside not a saggy liner like some of them .

It did feel great last year not using one but now I've found one that fits and looks ok it wont bother me wearing it, also a good mount for the gopro... woop woop

I used my new board today and after only 3 runs down the chill factory slope the wax had worn off the sides, so I told my friend who laughed at me and said I should of prepared my board at least 7 -8 times before using it , by that he meant wax the board then go over it with the iron and let it cool and then go over it again and let it cool and so on 7 or 8 times then scrape it off only if you're going to use it soon . I asked if that's just what the professional's did and he said he didn't know any body who didn't do that to a brand new pair of ski's and why would anyone not wax before using . Maybe it's just a Norwegian thing ,who know's ,all I know is it gives me another excuse to get the iron out 8)

We went Saturday morning 10am ,drove straight in and parked up,walked straight in with no queuing then couldn't believe how small the show was . I knew of one shop that would be there and I new what I wanted to buy so came home with a Bataleon Goliath snowboard and than just before we walked out I spotted a nice Dainese jacket(I didn't even know Dainese did mountain gear and I've been using their motorbike leathers and jackets for over 15 years) which had to come home with me as well so as pants as I thought the show was I came home a happy bunny Woohoo !
