Thermals or not??

I have used these people in the past and they have given good service, quality and at a good price. My daughter used them last year under her ski clothing and she never complained once about the cold.

Carving and Speed

If I come across one more skier or boarder come to that who are skiing out of control or at speeds above their capability causing danger to all I might just forget I am a civilized person and crack a few heads. Well as long as they are smaller than me.

Brimster wrote:I have to say that I was in Soldeu last New Year and had a fab time.

There are loads of runs for beginners/intermediates and the area is all linked so there is a lot of distance you can cover if you want. I will confess that there are a couple of flat areas near to the gondola station in Soldeu but selfishly I'm a skier so I don't view them as a problem

I have a few friends who have been to Pas and Soldeu and they enjoyed bth although they admitted that Soldeu is "prettier" (Pas is a concrete town pretty much).

Soldeu has a fab apres ski and in my opinion I don't think you can go wrong with Andorra......

LGb-Lift passes

graviteski wrote:Have you tried going through the French version of the site to book the passes online? Some of our friends had tried to book them online for La Clusaz and couldn't get the english version to work, so the tourist office advised them to use the french version of the site - lo and behold that is working OK! Leave a good week or so for the passes to arrive though.

We'll be skiing over in LeGB tomorrow so we'll let you know what the conditions are like at the moment. They're excellent in La Clusaz at the moment, so I imagine LeGB will be much the same. :D

Thanks graviteski, I have already tried that and still no joy, the site does now say that the service is unavailable.
The conditions look great on the web cams but please give us an update of your findings. ( that means green with envy )

Still this time in 3 weeks we will be skiing, can't wait.

Oh yes, and a ski canada calendar for 2009.

AAhhh, Valetellina, a wonderful place, great taste 8)
