And, to return to the original subject, how could anyone eat that much and then ski afterwards? I mean, I would find it impossible to move.

Ally

Yes he turned out OK. Its such a shame I am watching a bit of Davis Cup tennis right now and he regularly used to beat one of the players playing at the moment when they were about 12 or 13. Guess his parents had a lot more money than me to let them carry on.

Also nowt wrong with wellies, would be lost without mine, even if they are pink/purple and blue.........now thats fashion

Pablo Escobar wrote:RoseR, I was given rope duty when my old man was up a tree cutting some branches off. It very nearly ended up in disaster-be careful!

All done, safe and sound just cutting it all to skip now. Just remains for me to treat the stump now, if we dug that out it would take all the lawn and drive up. Sulphuric acid works a treat.

thanks

I could do with some help right now. I have to go and hang on a rope to support a tree that OH is cutting down, otherwise its gonna fall in the road.
You certainly have to be a certain type of person to teach any kids sport. You have to be patient, kind but at the same time strict enough to get the best out of them. My son is a tennis coach and teach's kids and adults but even he has amazed me how patient he is with particularly the 4yr olds. He only has to clap his hands and the litle boys just stand and focus on him and the little girls just stand and go all bashful around him, its amazing to watch. Wish I could just have clapped my hands when he was little.

I think they have Bears, they definitely have Lynx 8) ...would you settle for the Lynx Effect, Wickers?

I tell you what my auntie Edna brought me Lynx for last Christmas, deodorant and two types of shower gel, I have never used it before but it was all right, so the morel to the story is "don't
knock till ya tried it"

Grew up using Lynx, all of us even the women. Dad used to work on Lynx helicopters so although not connected they used to sponsor them at airshows etc. We had it by the box full. The smell takes me right back to my youth

You have a great memory Rose

Cheeky devil Ian  A lot of my school reports said' will never make any-thing of herself unless she concentrates more on school work and less on boys'
