Hat Advice please

me1st wrote:Can anyone give me some advice on a ski hat.

Went skiing for the first time and loved it. The only problem was that my hat / beanie kept on climbing above my ears making them cold. I don't know if it's the shape of my head and it looks pretty silly too almost like a chefs hat!

Can someone suggest a hat that will keep me warm but more importantly stay where I put it so I don't have to keep pulling it down.

Cheers

Going to Niederau next month.

Simple, buy one that fits

Was in Niederau last season and going to Mayrhofen on the 17th Jan for 2 weeks, (can't wait :D :D :D).

Just trying to get a feel for the place before we go.

If you wait long enough there will be quite a few persons who will add their tuppence worth on your subject matter.
Have a great holiday I do not depart for snow till the 23rd.
Anyone seen this?

Admin wrote:Dave - I had a very good service done by the ski shop just at the bottom of the Chatelet and (new) Floria chairs - the main lifts up from the bottom of Chinaillon village. It was a couple of years so no idea of the price - sorry - but do remember that I was very happy as my skis had been in a bit of a state at the time... 8)

That sounds like the dodgy snow year, took me a week to repair my skis
