I'll be honest even though it is my own brew.....from a kit at any rate. It was nice, its all gone now though and i have another on the go. I was VERY surprised by the quality myself, i read that kits have become much better over recent years but didn't expect them to live up to much but it was very nice. |

But do they cut the price of the lift pass? I bet they don't. |

I lost a glove once from a chair lift while i was messing with my iPod, the people in the chair behind me were shouting and pointing down and it took me a while to realise what i had done.
On a positive note it gave me my first off piste experience retrieving it. Its not until you are gloveless that you truly feel their worth.... |

Well, i'll post now what everyone else will write:
Its a risk, so if you can wait and go last minute to where the snow falls. Most resorts open up around the second week in dec and the biggest are snowmaking a while before then. I think you would be ok if you booked somewhere like Tignes or Val Thoren but the best advice is to wait. |

I saw a lot of that in Belle Plagne the other year, disgusting. Resorts should be made dog free or specify an area for them. |

This story got me thinking.
http://www.j2ski.com/ski-chat-forum/posts/list/12635.page Thinking about the stuff left behind at the end of the season. Do you think the melting snow reveals a mass of lost stuff? A few skis, poles, coins, cameras etc....? I wonder if treasure hunters armed with nerdy metal detectors hit the slopes. |
