I loved La Plagne. I am considering dumping Les Arcs this new year (as crystal are totally messing me about AGAIN) and returning there.

No experience of staying there but i can comment on the location.
It is in the centre of town right next to the ice rink which is fine for nights out but no so good for ski access.
You will either have to walk to the lifts or catch the shuttle bus around town.

A slope grading is not solely based on how steep it is. It states its over all difficulty so will include other factors such as piste width.

What seems steep indoors will soon appear gentle when you hit a nice wide blue in resort.

As for this years big holiday.....cancel it and go skiing instead.

So we have just had a phone call and they have cancelled our accommodation as they are no longer using this building.
So we have been upgraded to the new Eden Arc apartments after all.
They do look really smart but the fact they are out of town bothers me a little.

SnowCrazy, can you comment on the Eden Arc? How is the slope from the apartments down into 1800?

Just back from the local nick (again) where i had to view a video identity parade to try and pick out the waster that robbed a poor couples house.
I think i nailed him too but it is all getting a bit serious now and i am not sure i like the idea of being a star witness.
