Thoroughly enjoyed Les Deux, plenty of variety for all abilities. Made the mistake of coming back down on that lovely long green that shall not be named............never again. It was Easter and that run was very poor, I have never had to snow plough so much in my life. My poor husband had fallen and injured his shoulder so we thought we would ski the easy route down very slowly with me following behind. My quads were burning.

Going with my daughter for a look around but don't need to look at jackets. TK Maxx had the one I wanted at a bargain price of £60........chuffed to say the least. Just need to sort out which resort for. Feb half term. Oh and better start saving

Sadly my beloved ski jacket did not survive the deluge on Weymouth Beach yesterday. It leaked through the shoulder seam quite extensively. I have the usual waterproof sprays at home but realistically how effective are they? Ski show next week........what should I do? ( that must be a rhetorical question!!!!!)

Yep, definitely going, if only to have some thunder toffee vodka!! Impetuous daughter needs accompanying to prevent huge expenditure and I have some bits on the Christmas list to sort out.

We did but didn't spend as long as we would have liked. We skied over and being intermediates it took us a little while and we had to make sure we didn't miss all the lift connections back! We enjoyed the area very much though. We stayed at the Hotel Miravalle in Sauze, would recommend that too. -)

Should have also added the area is huge, we did Sestriere, Sansicario and then over to Montgenevre. Our area lift passs included a day pass to Montgenevre. You can either ski over, about 1 1/2 hours if fairly quick or you can bus it.
