Hi Sm4sh
So glad you had a good time in Borovets I went there and didnt have a brilliant time really ...next time I went to Andorra with some friends i made in Borovets and we had a great time, a lot of things were a lot better!! (lift queues and lifts for one!) There is a massive ski area linked up together ..and the lessons I had took me from the level you are at now, to doing reds and parallel turns in a week!
The instructors were very good and friendly and always on time and as Ally G says they ask how many weeks and check out your skiing before making groups and swap people around later if they are obviously at the wrong level...
Hope your next trip is a real good one!!!

Hi I am out here now and have had a really nice day skiing both on and off piste The snow is not brilliant on the lower slopes to be honest ..slushy and thin in places however the pisteurs are doing a great job in keeping the connecting runs open near the bottom ..higher up and there is some great fun to be had, temps are low enough to keep things in good condition and we were jumping around off piste in the Fornet area today with plenty of soft snow beneath us!!
Now the half-term is over we are looking forward to things being quieter and rumours of more snow later this week!

SNOWB4NDIT AND DANEKA... Today with my poles and gloves!!!

Dont know where it is..I noticed the lefthand drive thing too, unless the image has been reversed somehow, pretty impressive but what happens when it melts? Could be messy!

MORZINE - LES GETS

The slopes are holding up well, considering the lack of snow, there is snow machine powder on most they are being run anytime temps allow it, they are stockpiling snow on the pleney at the moment,
gets a bit slushy in the afternoon and icy patches everywhere especially in the shade but avoidable.
Soft wax and sharp edges seems to be the order of the day. Off piste is considered dangerous and is (looks soft but hard as concrete!) although the area by Les Fournet is do-able.
Some places are tricky but in general all ski-able.
A promise of 1cm of snow next Tuesday! but as you know it could change at any time..
