I'm amazed on how many holy convents with beer brewing monks seem to exist in Switzerland.

personally I'd be amazed at any monks in a convent whether they're brewing beer or not

good lord! absolutely not

absolutely yes!!! I skied over for lunch one day and we'll go back and stay there. Not quite as disneylandish as Mont Tremblant looks. JonG is the man in the know in this area.
I love the look of the broncos. I wouldn't buy gloves without trying them on though. As long as they tick the right boxes, insulation wise, etc, go for the one that feels the best.

What exactly is a catered chalet?

They are all usually very accomodating when it comes to food, offering options (limited) for fussy eaters, vegetarians and kids. The chalet staff are usually 20-25 year olds, who often have no previous cooking experience, but through the TO's chalet training have become excellent cooks. We've always found the food to be excellent, and a whole lot better than hotel food. They often provide 4 course meals from tiny kitchens, for 12-15 people. It's a miracle how they do it.

I'm with you. I love chalets. If it's with strangers I don't think I'd want it to be less than about 20 people, then it's small enough to get to know everyone but large enough to not have to sit next to someone that you don't want to

Basically she wouldn't trust me to tick all the boxes she would want ticked so she organises it, and it is therefore her responsibility if she doesn't like it... which she appreciates, and I am happy with.

'tis true. I won't let graham get anywhere near a travel internet site / brochure!

that's a shame about MW, snowplough. I haven't been on one for about three or four years. it's also a shame to hear that they've closed many of them including my favourite, Paleros  best waterskiing ever!
