you don't have to have them but I would ..according to all the tests the advantages are manifold and they are not that expensive I've just paid £100 for 2

the ski ties I have do not allow the bases to touch they start with a hd foam piece between the skis

and La Plattieres is not the fastest of lifts..never mind the queues

Its just basically ski down the road from the bottom lift ..you will see it on the piste map to get to st martin...the way back is a bit more complicated
up the chenus lift>col du loze drag>blue runs down to Meribel>Tougnet1 bubble>down the arrolles to mottaret >the la plattieres lifts 1&2 >down to the Cote Brun lift. then down Plein Sud to Val Thorens |
