I thought you were the educator, but here goes

Ally, riding down on the chair at the end of the day I was getting a bit cold and damp, my ski stuff isn't exactly 'the best designed gear' but I would bet he came near to being soaked through if he skied all day and cold too. Ski stuff that old and that well used probably doesn't work as well as it could.

Your sallys were black, hardly worthy of a photograph. Welly boots are awesome.

Why are you not skiing, no snow

I think they have Bears, they definitely have Lynx 8) ...would you settle for the Lynx Effect, Wickers?

I tell you what my auntie Edna brought me Lynx for last Christmas, deodorant and two types of shower gel, I have never used it before but it was all right, so the morel to the story is "don't
knock till ya tried it"
8) 8) 8)

Grew up using Lynx, all of us even the women. Dad used to work on Lynx helicopters so although not connected they used to sponsor them at airshows etc. We had it by the box full. The smell takes me right back to my youth

You have a great memory Rose

Cheeky devil Ian  A lot of my school reports said' will never make any-thing of herself unless she concentrates more on school work and less on boys'

Rose, you know I love you, because you always get my jokes

My ski mates and I often like to while away cable car and chairlift trips with a daft competition to spot skiers in 1970s/80s dayglo gear etc.

That spot would have been worth 10 points!!!

I'm glad your not going to Adelboden tomorrow
AllyG wrote:Well, I think you're all very mean. Up until last year I was wearing my daughter's old, cheap, black teenage size salopettes, and my normal everyday waterproof jacket, because ski clothes are so expensive, and I was walking around Borovets in welly boots (came in handy when the snow all melted and there were huge puddles everywhere!). I dare say if you'd seen me I'd have been worth a photo.

Up to date designer ski wear is very expensive. My daughter made me buy some new stuff last year, because I was an 'embarassment'.

What's wrong with old stuff, as long as it functions O.K.?

Ally

Have you not seen my very trendy C&A ski top ?

Doh I missed that!

Spot on micric.

Sounds like my school reports teach, " If Ian showed as much enthusiasm to his school work as he does his sport " but I don't think I ever had the " Must try harder " I wonder if they are still used today ??
