It is just unbelievable March snow. As good as I can remember. It will be interesting to look at the season-end statistics, c/w previous seasons. Now seing regular local piste skiers checking out the off piste.

I've been amazed at how much snow I've seen on all the reports and not as much sunshine as usual. Bodes well for our late trip :D

I've got a feeling that graham would enjoy hearing that story Dave

So, let's hear it for Amanda.

that's absolutely wonderful! I'm so happy for you and grinning like a cheshire cat

some really amazing photos . I have no artistic skill whatsoever, I can't even put make up on properly!

My oh is also extremely keen on black and white, so much so that he wrote a song about it

Mr a has suggested we skip skiing next year. Can you imagine my reaction? it went something like this...

he's obviously 'avin a larf

Go without him or divorce - the only options really :D

Thats the consensus then.

the former was my reaction once I'd been through all of the above emotions. the latter is the last resort but not out of the question 8). all joking aside in The List thread, I've been with him since I was 16 and really can't live without him! (I need Trencher's vomiting emoticon at this point.)

Have a great time timeforabeer
at the risk of sounding like a broken record, have you had a look at esprit? A lot of their chalets would fit your description and the childcare would be there already so you don't have to pay flights, accom and wages for your own. They aren't cheap but, as hymac wrote, it's pretty normal for perfection at half term.

Until my children became slightly less reliant I had my eye on La Rosiere, ski in and out until your heart's content :D
